STYLING EASTER WITH NOTONTHEHIGHSTREET.COM // INTERIOR INSPIRATION
When I was little I remember Easter being awash with chocolate, eggs stacked high, maybe the occasional hunt for the Easter bunny in the garden and then me trying to eke out my finds until my mum or dad found them and polished them off!
It was never really celebrated with the same gusto as other holidays so when I eventually left home it was more a case of a packet of mini eggs rather than a full Easter celebration. Fast forward to motherhood and it seems to have taken on a new role in our house. Suddenly the excitement of Easter bonnets and brightly coloured eggs hunts have taken hold and chocolate fever is in full force in the kiddo’s eyes.

STYLING THE SEASONS // OCTOBER
I'm not quite sure where this month has gone, but somehow November is a few days away, my boy has tuned four, pumpkins have been carved for tomorrow's fun and I have realised that I've haven't got round to posting my Styling the Season for October – whoops! So rather than let it pass by and rock on with November's styling challenge, I was determined to document this month at home.
October for me is all about change, the leaves turn, F gets that little bit older, the nights draw in and the the cool breeze demands coats and chunky knits. At home it's all about baking biscuits and making heart warming soups, lazy mornings spent under blanket reading books and sipping coffee (when I can grab the chance) and collecting treasures from outdoors.
So I baked some woodland animal butter biscuits, printed an autumn inspired tea towel with F, got out my vintage coffee set and had some fun with this beautiful Herringbone throw. What do you think?

STYLING A SMUG SHELFIE
We were met with the smell of coffee and pastries which is by far my most perfect way to start any day, and after a quick catch up with some lovely online ladies we were set our challenge: to create and style a SMUG shelfie in 30 minutes using products from the store. Always one for a challenge and eager to get my hands on the beautiful ceramics, I browsed the shelves and shop corners collecting pieces as I went along.
