When I get restless I often find that a small shift in my surroundings helps me focus – a sofa here or a picture there – so as a mini project I wanted to create a corner with this balance in mind, one that is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and practical. When my small gold bedside table made its way into the lounge I was keen to find something to compliment it, and my mind immediately turned to concrete planters or vessels and some succulents. Thankfully there are so many great concrete DIY tutorials over on Pinterest, I just need to find time to get my craft on.
