Before I went into hiding with the Flu, I was very excited to have been invited along to dinner by one of my favourite interior stores, Made.com, at their new Bristol pop up showroom. Ah yes an evening of social mingling with other bloggers, fantastic food by Dela and a general ah-ing and co-ing over their current range *swoon*
The new showroom is a perfect place to check out some of their fab designs before buying online and we certainly weren't disappointed as we were greeted by the most beautifully laid table, all from Made.com of course.Making mental note of the cool candle holders and gold cutlery, we sipped on Winter spiced Whisky and apple cocktails and glasses of Prosseco while catching up with blogging buddies before waiting to be seated. Everyone was snapping pics of all the pieces they loved around the showroom, excitedly pointing out marble clocks, sofas and other various designs before being asked to be seated.
Presented with a menu by Dela, a new to Bristol space to gather, share food and celebrate the arts, opening later this year, we were totally spoiled with the most delicious five course menu of sheer deliciousness. You have to be sure to keep an eye out as you will not want to miss out on Dela opening.
The food and surroundings were incredible, flavour after flavour were tempting our taste buds and the main course of warm cauliflower, radish, fennel and red onion salad with toasted walnuts, soft herb salsa and a tahini dressing was totally swoon worthy. Oh and Espresso Martini? Yes please.
Dining in the showroom allowed us to see some of the designs functionality first hand, and experience what it could be like hosting our own social with friends using furniture from Made.com. With a winning combination of great food, friends and contemporary design the night was a brilliant way to network with the blogging community in Bristol and all round have fun.
As soon as I got home I promptly went online to check out the rest of the products to see what I wanted to bookmark for future purposes. Here are a few of my top choices from Made.com.
If you're in Bristol then head down to the Pop up showroom and check out some of these beauties or you can always visit the showroom in London or order online.
