It's been two weeks since we launched our new series Style In Your City, which showcases your life. That's right we want to create a community celebrating all the things you love about where you live. I really enjoyed reading your posts and seeing all your stylish photos over on Instagram. My favourite post from the last fortnight was by These Four Walls, I loved how Abi takes you for a stroll up her neighbourhood street.
This week we're focusing on a good cuppa. As you know I am a bit addicted to caffeine and I really look forward to my first sip of the day. It seems that I couldn't have chosen a better city to live in with such a vibrant cafe culture, full of exciting pop up restaurants and quirky spaces.

While on my hunt for my morning cuppa, I was excited to find a new place had opened in our neighbourhood and as always I was eager to support independents and try it out. Souk Kitchen Cafe + Supplies first opened its doors on North Street and has recently opened a new brach on Apsley Road, selling a rage of Persian influenced cuisines including my favourite breakfast dish, Shakshouka - eggs poached in a tomato sauce with peppers, onions and spices topped with spinach and served with flatbread. Just what the tummy ordered and obviously it all gets washed down with a latte.
I love that I can pop in and grab a coffee to go and a sweet baklava for F to fuel his tired legs or that we can take our time to lounge and sip our coffee, chatting over the table as the breakfast crowd bustles around us. Not only does it serve great coffee and cuisine, but they sell their own products too, and on the rare days I skip the caffeine, I can sit with a beautifully presented herbal tea instead.
My only fear is that I'm turning F into a future coffee addict with all these cafe pitstops I make, but what can I say, this mama needs her caffeine!
So how does it work?
We would love it if you wanted to link up and join in with 'Style in your City'. This fortnight's theme is A Good Cuppa, we want to see where you get your favourite brew from or post that artistic shot of your cuppa on IG. We'll pick be showcasing our favourites on our blogs each fortnight.
We're running this as a bi-weekly feature and you don't have to have a blog to join in or live in a bustling city for that matter, simply use the hashtag #styleinyourcity on twitter and/or IG with a photo and tag @wildandgrizzly and @tigerlillyquinn.
