OH SPECTACULAR BLOGTACULAR

I had the best intentions of posting this as soon as I returned from London and while I was still fresh with ideas. However life happens and I accidentally fell into a 'blogiday' and went AWOL from this corner of the internet. Instead I've been super busy, what with travelling around the country seeing friends and family, but finally I'm home and ready to settle down and write up the brilliant blogging conference that is Blogtacular.

So where do I start? Maybe with the amazing speakers, the great blogging tips, the workshops, or perhaps the sheer amount of super cool women under one roof? After spending two days at my first blogging conference my mind is racing with all the possibilities this little corner of the internet holds for me and I can see not just the day to day working of Wild & Grizzly but can see how it might span out in years to come which is super exciting.

Not knowing what to expect I was blown away by all the hard work that Kat & Kat had put into making this amazing blogging conference come to life. On arrival I excitedly circled speakers on my programme ready to have my brain uploaded with insider knowledge and I was so looking forward to Joy Cho's keynote speech, which was not only fascinating to see how her career had changed and developed through determination and hardwork but also how inspirational Joy was in person.

I also loved hearing the super Q&A from Will Taylor who shared his story of working hard, making it and finding your niche, as well as Anne Ditmeyer's passion for creativity, the blogging community and educating brands and clients to be valued properly i.e. not work for free. I was so thrilled that I decided to take the wonderful Xanthe's photowalk, cue thirty gorgeous ladies walking around Mayfair, cameras in arms snapping away at the beautiful and bright, balloons afloat. It definitely made me realise I should never be afraid to use colour no matter how much I like the minimal Scandinavian style. After meeting some gorgeous bloggers in person such as the lovely Katy, Laura, Heather, Hannah and so many other wonderful ladies, I finished on a total high after hearing the closing keynote speech from Natalie Lue, who's wit and courage took the floor, not to mention meeting one of my favourite Instagrammers and business owner Courtney Adamo .

Once finished I headed back to Bristol, tired but happy and in the great company of Fritha and Jess returning home to a Eurovision Party in full swing.

If you're kicking yourself for missing out, don't fret as you can now sign up for Virtual Blogtacular with access to all the talks in the comfort of your home. Bring on Blogtacular 2015!
