A ROOM OF HIS OWN // HOUSE TOUR

I often get asked to show the inside of our little home and normally it's a whirlwind of toys and madness, so I don't often get a chance to snap it looking half decent. So when F went to stay at my folks for the night I took the advantage to capture his space and share it with you.

This post is pic heavy so click to read more.

Throughout our home we are blessed with high ceilings and georgian sash windows which dominate the rooms, and as much as I love a good crisp white wall I wanted to give F a cosy space he could feel happy in. I've used a combination of natural wood to bring warmth mixed with white pieces of furniture to give a more Scandinavian feel, and tried to use his toys as focal points around the room while still keeping them accessible, plus the addition of his own mini Eames chair which I love. My only planned DIY project is to change the handles on the dresser to bureau style handles and add some Shanna Murray decals to F's bed.

If you want to see some of my other favourite kids spaces then take a peek at my Pinterest board.
