"A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014."

F: Unfurling those sandy fingers to peek at his found treasure

We started our bank holiday weekend with some blissful impromptu down time as F requested a sleepover at my folks, leaving room for a slow morning full of lie-ins, book reading, coffees in the sun and wandering round the local farmers market before being reunited with the boy. After weeks of him begging to go to the beach we made the drive down to the coast to walk across stretches of sand, wind in our hair and toes dipping in rock pools.

I have you're enjoying a great Bank Holiday Weekend.
