Today is the beginning of solo parenting on/off for the next two weeks, as the husband jets off to Russia and other such places for business. Don't get me wrong, hanging out with F is great but with his new early rise routine, the days are long and there's no handover in sight. Although I am used to these solo stints and manage to adapt relatively quickly, I always dread the exhaustion that comes with it. Throw in the addition of potty training and you get the picture.
Although kids thrive on routine, for me it's a killer, so I will follow a loose schedule of sleep/eat/play punctuated with out door adventures for F and a coffee I.V. for me.
