NOVEMBER AGAIN

So I've let the first day of the new month slip past me without acknowledgement, not forgotten but more in stubborn denial. The joyful days of October are over, my boy is now three, the season is truly taking hold, the nights are darker, pumpkins have been carved and I feel my thoughts slowly turn to Christmas. Yep, I've said it.

November you are my buffer month, a few weeks for me to catch my breath before the frantic dazzling delights of Christmas take hold. Although I do love to watch the leaves change to the majestic colours of rich golds, magentas, burnt ochre and reds. I will embrace you with warm scarves, hot chocolates and crisp morning walks with my boy.

This weekend we'll be joining friends to watch a most excellent parading of the Guy, warm our hands by the bonfire and hear the eager 'oohs and aahs' of little ones as we turn our heads to the stars and watch the glittering firework displays across the skies of Bristol. I can't wait to see F's face light up. He loves anything space related, so tonights firework fun will definitely thrill him.

Have a most wonderful and colourful weekend x
