I still can't quite believe that we've got past the 20 week mark and that in January 2018 we'll turn into a family of four! Due to this pregnancy being high risk and the brilliant support we've had from the NHS, we actually found out the sex of this baby a few weeks ago but I didn't feel comfortable sharing the news until we had our 20 week scan and I knew everything was fine.

Even though the baby has been super active recently with mega bumps and kicks, I was still feeling anxious that something would go wrong, so I was overjoyed to see that little profile on the screen. We found out the sex while my sister-in-law was staying and I couldn't wait to open the envelope and read it allowed. There were gasps, laughs and a few tears all round, especially from Felix who was thrilled! So we're super excited to share our new that...
WE'RE HAVING A ...
I wanted to mark the event in a special way as the chances of us having any more children is almost nil, this baby really was a little miracle. We decided to book a Maternity/Gender Reveal Shoot with the wonderfully talented Abigail Oliver, who some of you might know from Abigail and the Future. Abigail has some fantastic photography packages and made us feel so comfortable on location as well as getting a giggle out of us. Everything felt very relaxed and we had so many wonderful shots to choose from. All I need now is a stylish frame to put them in!

We headed down to the seafront at Clevedon Pier just as the sun was setting and I was blown away by the light, you can't beat a beautiful sunset and the weather gods didn't disappoint. I grew up by the sea as a child and it's always held a special place in my heart, just like this little bump. I am so grateful to have such gorgeous photos to capture this moment and I can't wait to meet our little girl.
I'm so happy to share our news with you lovely lot and once again thanks so much to Abigail for her hard work and creative vision. Do go check out her beautiful blog and her wonderful Photography portfolio.
Abigail Oliver Photography is offering 15% of any photography package by using the code WILD15.
Now to start making a list of all the things we might need!
