My Outdoor Spaces Pinterest board is one of my favourites to delve into, and with the promise of a new garden very soon I've had my eye on what makes a good social space. An urban garden has to work quite hard to tick a lot of boxes as it becomes an extension of your home, a place where you can socialise with friends or relax in an oasis of calm like these beauties.
I love good design in the home and there's no reason that has to stop there, whether you prefer the crisp clean lines of a contemporary garden, getting creative with your space or perhaps recreating a Mediterranean vibe, picking the right pieces is vital to your outdoor design.
I've created a little mood board of what I think we'd love to have in our new garden using natural stone coloured tones, greys and wooden decking. Although our place is a listed building so it might look a little different to this dreamy space.
I love the idea of an Urban design with a mix of contemporary lines furniture, a little nook nestled against a wall, festoon lights giving a soft glow at night and a fire pit to enjoy and socialise with friends. I think the Ethimo outdoor set would look indoors and well as out, plus the design is ace!
