I'm always creepin' on courtyard garden ideas as my desire for an outside space continues, so when I'm not filling up Pinterest boards I love having a nosey around real life spaces. The best thing about this house is how the courtyard garden is almost the heart of the home, as the L-shape house wraps around it. There are various seating areas and the view from the crittell kitchen windows are stunning.
Every corner is filled with climbing ivy or tumbling ferns stacked and layered to create depth amongst all the green. I love the potted succulents and the use of terracotta, tin and cement planters to give of earthy tones and keep that Mediterranean feel. There are a few seperate seating areas, perfect for pitdoor dining and I couldn't get enough of the white wire seats, they are so cool and remind me a little of Bri from Designlovefest's L.A home.

I loved these gorgeous antique mirrors mounted on the wall in the corner of the courtyard garden, this fab feature reflects all the light and always goof for a cheeky pic ;) For those of you who wondering how to create more space, hanging an external mirror can really create the illusion of a bigger outdoor area and create a chic look to your home.

The interior was just as cosy and unique as the outside, although you'll have to wait until the new issue of LivingEtc to see it in full. If you're looking for more outdoor spaces and courtyard garden ideas then check out my board for inspiration.
I love this post! I have a subscription to LivingEtc - it's my very favourite interiors magazine.
