STYLING THE SEASONS // NOVEMBER

When I think of November I think of dark nights closing in, that in-between month which slowly prepares us for the festive season and although I am a huge lover of light spaces, cool greys and minimal design, sometimes you just need warm earthy tones to snuggle down to.

We have two grand fireplaces in the flat, the bedroom with its grey marble is my favourite and the lounge with its mottled pinks and browns not so much, but this month it has come into its own. So to celebrate these spaces, I have dressed both to see which I would prefer.

To my surprise the lounge fireplace won over my heart, I have filled my wire basket with furs and throws, used a hurricane lamp with fairy lights to create warmth in the hearth and winter blooms to add height, oh and my favourite star candle holder from Butlers
