Wow what a night! Last week I was lucky enough to head to London for the Amara Interior Awards 2014, where I was super grateful to have been nominated for the Best Design Inspiration – thanks again you lovely peeps – I was thrilled to be amongst some other super bloggers and online friends who I was excited to finally clink a glass with.
Squeezing in a few spring/summer press events around the awards, I headed up to London with Fritha who was also nominated in the Best Fashion Inspired category, as we had so much fun staying over at the MAD's we thought it would be fun to share an apartment again.We were kindly offered a stay at the Citadines Apart'hotels in Holborn, which proved to be the pad in the city with everything we might need, including a kitchenette, After a mad dash around the city to get to the Boden press day, we headed back to our apartment late leaving only 30 minutes to get glammed up.
After a very quick wardrobe change into a classic little black dress with my favourite peep toe heels, we planned our route to the ceremony only to find we could see the Rosewood Hotel from our window, meaning we made it right on time. 
The night was beautiful, all glitz and glamour. Prosecco was drank, canapes enjoyed and there was a huge buzz in the room with anticipation. After huge cheers for all the winners and hanging out with the lovely Geraldine from Little Big Bell and the fab Hayley and Shaneen from Breathe Happiness, we made our way back to the apartment, drank tea and caught up on the excitement of the night.
We woke super early and headed downstairs for breakfast, ensuring we filled up on plenty of coffee, muesli, yogurt and fruit – there may have been a waffle or two snuck in there as well. I'm already thinking of booking an apartment for an upcoming wedding, as the location is perfect.
We then dashed off in opposite directions to catch the last of the press shows and our train home, with our goodie bag in tow.
