"A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014."
F: Sheltering from the rain, with his 'I'm not impressed' face
There has been a slight shift in season this week as we slowly edge towards autumn. The rain has poured, an extra blanket has been needed at night and dusk settles in earlier, all reminders that summer is fading. I am still hopeful that September might bring more heat and outdoor play, and I'm praying to the weather gods for sun at End of the Road Festival next week.

What a lovely shot--the black and white is fantastic. We've been slightly drowning in rain, too! I don't need the heat and humidity, but a little sunshine would be nice!
ReplyDeleteThanks lovely. I don't need the heat either just a little sunshine. :) x
DeleteLove the expression!
ReplyDeleteHe's really coming out with some funny ones at the moment! x
DeleteBeautiful picture. I love the contrast. I am waiting for the autumn feel that so many are talking about to hit California. I'm visiting from the link up at Practising Simplicity.
ReplyDeleteI love this photo. Gorgeous. There is party of me that loves that extra blanket at night. I can't believe how quickly this summer is flying by.
