NEW OFFICE CHAIR AND CREATING A SMALL WORKSPACE AT HOME

It's back to school and back to work I go! Even though I took a bit of a break from the blog to enjoy every minute of this little girl of mine, I didn't officially take any maternity leave/pay so I've been juggling the side hustle. Now we're on the flip side of six months and the purse strings are feeling a bit tight, I'm trying to get myself organised and put in a strategy in place for the next six to twelve months. What better way to get your work on then creating a small workspace with a new office chair.

It's feels like an age since we were last in Paris, exploring the city and getting our fill of our favourite hang outs. Ah the beautiful City of Lights, this time I was on a mission to not only to live like a local but to find the best gluten free eats in Paris. MY RAINBOW BABY BIRTH STORY

I can’t believe it’s been three months of Romi in our lives, and somehow that short time feels like forever. I was hoping to get her birth story on the blog pretty soon after the big event but I got lost in the baby bubble of cuteness so apologies for the absence on here!

So what have I been up to in the last few months? Well apart from spending hours staring at her sweet cheeks, chilling at home with my boob out and squeezing in a few pelvic floor exercises here and there, I’ve been mainly getting to know this little human of mine…and oh what a sweetheart she is. But more on that another time, for now let me catch you up on how it all went down with our rainbow baby. This ones a long one so maybe get yourself a cuppa and get comfortable…

Do you love making last minute travel plans plans? I’ve never been one to book in advance, which can be expensive when it comes to travel! Since Romi’s birth, Felix has been craving some one on one time with me *oh so tricky with a newborn in the house,* so being able to book a last minute day trip with National Express really gave us some much needed quality time.

I always wondered what it would be like living as a family of four. How I would be able to divide my love between two children and how the new family dynamics would work? Well as it turns out this little maths puzzle was quickly resolved when our new daughter, Romi, came along and I realised – probably as most parents do – that it's a simple multiplication rather than division sum.
