When it comes to interiors and choosing products for home I always tend to follow my heart rather than trends and pick out pieces that I love, have style and serves a purpose. But every now again I find something that is not only on trend but also helps others and gives something back, like these hand woven baskets.
Those of you who follow my Instagram account know that I'm a bit of a lover of baskets to hide the multitude of kids toys and other plastic delights around the home. Let's face it they're pretty good for everything right? Cushions, blankets, magazines, you name it..and they've been gracing the pages of interior mags and Pinterest for so long now that I doubt the trend is going anywhere soon. So I wanted to share these new to me finds from HomeSense and TK Maxx that are pretty, practical and help spread a little love.
A small selection on the beautiful hand woven creations available instore. |
I always find endless inspiration at HomeSense for such a good price and it's my normal go to place when I need to replace kitchen equipment or buy props for photo shoots, as you never know what unique items you'll find instore! So it's nice to know that the company is giving something back and that since the inititaive was set up their has been a 40% increase in children finishing primary school in the local villages.
I've recently been using to baskets for my plant babies as I love the slight boho feel while keeping in style with our Scandi vibe and I am swooning over the Fiddle Leaf plant in the first pic!
Do you love buying products that give you the feel good factor? I'd love to hear if you use baskets in your interior style.
*This post is in collaboration with HomeSense and TK Maxx. I love supporting charity initiatives and all opinions are 100% my own.
