When I was staying in Paris the first thing I noticed was how beautiful the women were. It wasn't that they were all skinny or wearing the latest fashion trends, it wasn't even that they were the standard symmetrical beauty that the media has us believe to be best. Instead the reason these ladies were oozing hotness was confidence, and with confidence comes the ability to pull off different styles.

I was always worried that I wouldn't be able to pull of a bold frame and had often shied away from wearing my glasses in public, but after seeing these Parisian women confidently wearing statement specs, bold frames and various shapes, I realised that it wasn't the frames it was me. I was lacking confidence in how I looked and my old frames were making me blend in with the crowd.

    They are brilliant! Think I'd go for the Costello ones, since having my youngest I've been too lazy and knackered to bother with my contact lenses but my glasses are awful and I'm always embarrassed to wear them out in public.

    It's so hard to find glasses that suit you, so this looks like a great idea. I love the idea of getting everything done in the comfort of your own home. I like the tortoiseshell ones too.

    Loving these glasses and would definitely choose the Scout Costello in Tortoise as well! I could do with a spare pair of glasses as it's really only a matter of time before one of my kids gets a hold of my current pair and we all know how that's likely to end!!
