Where mama meets cool

F: Quiet and still with a high temperature.

We all took a bit of bashing last week as a nasty virus took hold, taking us out one by one. As a mama there is no time to be still or hide away, only medicate and push forward. Not until F got sick and asked me to lie with him for several hours, awake and still, just holding hands, did I allow myself time to catch up. Not wanting to have a photo taken I've tried to capture his stillness without imposing on him. Thankfully he is back to his most cheeky and boisterous self, and the flat feels full of life again.

      It was quite alarming him being so quiet but we've had fun today, although he started to flag a little by the afternoon x
