I think it's an understatement to say I like coffee, in reality it's become a necessity of my waking routine, and without one I am no fun to be around at all. With our rushed school run and frantic mornings full of me chasing a six year old boy around the house, any attempts to use the machine I bought Paul a few years back is a distant memory. Leisurely frothing milk to the perfect temperature has been duly left to slow weekends – oh the days of no school – and instead grabbing a takeaway for the walk home is the first caffeine hit I can get.
Any change to my morning coffee ritual that allows me to get a sip or two before leaving the house is welcomed. I was sent the Dolce Gusto Movenza to try and at first I was a little hesitant in accepting another machine that might find itself gathering dust in the kitchen, but how often does a coffee machine look this sleek and compact?
Well hello time saver! I have never really used pods before and this coffee machine is very compact and the design is great. It almost looks like a pebble or pod when the machine is closed giving a smooth look that sits comfortably in any room, and yes I have allocated this one to the bedroom. Sounds a bit odd but hear me out. The Dolce Gusto Movenza is so simple to use, there is a small compartment that slides out at the back allowing you to add cold water, then pressing the green digital button the pod compartment will automatically come to life and lift for you to add your coffee pod and fill your cup *yay*.
It's that simple! No fuss, no mess and seconds to a hot cup of Jo. You create a variety of drinks from hot chocolate (Felix's favourite) to latte's and espressos, in fact there is as many options as there are pods.
This has saved me so much time and certainly taken the edge of my fuzzy head, getting me out the house
It's really making me take note of how I can streamline our mornings so they are less stressful and manic, although I'm probably never going to always be on time, but if I can steal a few minutes for myself then it's definitely a good thing. As the saying goes happy mama, happy everyone! *I just made that up shhh.
*I was sent the Dolce Gusto Movenza to try as part of this post. All opinions are 100% my own. Thanks to the brands who continuously support Wild & Grizzly.
