WER-HAUS BARCELONA, THE PERFECT CONCEPT STORE // TRAVEL

Oh take me back to warm sunny days. Now it's not that I don't like winter but I really struggle without actual sunshine and with this blanket of grey Bristol has been living under the last few weeks, I've been daydreaming about the afternoon we spent in Wer-Haus Barcelona, the perfect concept store and coffee pit-stop. I love discovering hidden gems like these when exploring new cities and always look out for stylish design and interiors, plus they do the best hot chocolate too!

After spending the morning exploring the stunning rooftops of Gaudi's La Pedrera *Swoon* we wandered a few blocks to find the hidden delights of concept store, Wer-Haus, the perfect combo of gallery/fashion store/coffee lab/event space/bookshop. I mean come on! How cool is that, all my favourite things in one place, housed in a former parking garage. We entered from the bustling street via the gallery and bookstore space which houses some interesting pieces to muse over before it opens out into an industrial designed coffee/dining space with the a fashion store at the back. coffee shop decor ideas, coffee shop interior, cafe concept, design coffee shop, wer-haus barcelona, design cafe, industrial interior, coffee shop barcelona, barcelona coffee shop

The kiddo happily sat drawing his version of Gaudi's building while we sat back and enjoyed a coffee or two and tested out the menu with a few dishes and were pleased to find a few gluten free options available.

I really loved the interior space with huge leafy plants, concrete floors and open loft style space, punctuated with cool photos on the wall and industrial furniture. The gallery space hosts a variety of work and the bookshop has all the best magazines, perfect to while away the hours. In fact it made me feel very envious that we haven't got our own version of Were-Haus to hang out in back home.

After an hour or so we left the comfort of Wer-Haus and headed off to the next part of our adventure, but this space has definitely given me some food for thought when it comes to styling interiors and I can feel a huge plant purchase coming on for our home *Shhh just don't tell the OH*.

If you get the chance to pop by while in Barcelona I would definitely recommend this space for a stylish coffee stop. You can check out the rest of our Spanish road trip here.
