At last the weekend is upon upon us and it couldn't come sooner. This week has been long and tiring with some early starts and a sickly husband to contend with. I have spent the week hiding tired eyes under a veil of concealer and walking around with a caffeine glaze, but change is afoot – more on this later.
I'm particularly excited about our date night. Tomorrow eve we'll stroll over to Bristol Zoo with friends, bunk down with some wine and watch one of the best 80's films ever. That's right it's The Goonies.
Let's hope nostalgia fills the air rather than rain.
